Excellent read. I couldn't put it down! I read it while on a trip to Denver in the middle of tornado season. I would recommend it to anyone, not just people interested in weather.

You're in for a treat if you read Tornado Siren. It manages to make weather systems sexy, which anyone who has ever been stuck in a storm with that special someone already knows! I grew up in the Midwest and have memories of the excitement tornados can create. The novel is a beautiful blend of mystery, romance, humor, and interesting facts about storms, and I highly recommend it.

I read and loved Tornado Siren. It's an engrossing read, and extremely well written. I recommend it highly to anyone and everyone -- you don't have to be obsessed with tornadoes to enjoy it!

Tornado Siren was a wonderful read! It was my ambition was to finish the book on vacation in Italy. However, I became so wrapped up in the story that I finished it before the plain reached Da Vinci Airport.

Patrick Gabridge's Tornado Siren was a sincere and heartfelt experience that I hope many will come to know as I do.

Tornado Siren was an adventure. I could not put the book down. The book had a little bit of romance, just the right abount of mystery and a lot of electricity. When is the film coming out???

I read Tornado Siren and found it to be a thoroughly engrossing ride, with compelling characters and an intriguing story line. I also learned a lot about tornados and tornado chasing, topics that were hitherto unfamiliar to me.

A real page-turner! One of the most captivating plot lines!!!!

I read this book because I've read some of Gabridge's plays--and seen some here in DC. This was a great read: very interesting plot line, fantastic character development, a little science, a little romance and a little mysticism all wrapped up into one engaging novel. He's clearly a talented writer. Oprah should buy the film rights---there are not many stories with strong black women as main characters that would make a great movie.

I have read Mr. Gabridge's "Tornado Siren" and can honestly say that it's one of my favorite books of all time. It's one of that rare breed of books that you never want to end. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Great read, fascinating love story, and truly creative journey into the land of the tornado.

Starts off a little slow but by the middle of the book you don't want to put it down. The "science" fictional plot produces highly believable characters. I recommend it.

Having never traveled in person to tornado country, I enjoyed this journey through it in the company of some of the most compelling, unique characters I've encountered in fiction: researcher Victoria Thomas and a wanderer, Ben Fulgar. Their relationship to each other and to tornadoes absolutely captivated me. I read this book in two sittings but thought about it long after.

This book is highly recommended for two reasons: First, it features an extremely positive and supportive character profile of an African-American woman - hurrah to Gabridge for taking that step. Second, it is such an unusual plot - you will never read one like this again...unless, of course, the "Siren" goes off again with a sequel!

Tornado Siren is a good read--engaging characters, vivid writing, a suspenseful story--and an inside view of a tornado! A fascinating modern version of an ancient myth.

This book brought back memories of the summer I chased tornados in eastern Colorado. The meteorology is impressive, and so is the craftwork of language that tells an intriguing story.

I'm a fan of Pat's from having seen a number of his plays, and his novel Tornado Siren is definitely a keeper. I loved the characters, the family dynamics and the romance. The plot kept me guessing. Funny, touching, exciting, moving; this book has it all.

This is one of the best books that I have read. It captures your interest from page one and it was difficult for me to put it down. I love stories that are mystical and romantic and Tornado Siren really incorporated both of these in a truly pleasurable reading experience. I'm waiting for your next novel, Patrick!
